Course participants receive Capra Energy’s LNG Analysis Toolkit (TM), a suite of Excel templates and algorithms for performing essential LNG calculations, including unit conversions, freight costs, boil-off gas quantities, maximum netback prices, required hedge sizes, LNG contract mark-to-market (MTM) values and much more. These templates will be used to solve case studies throughout the course. Plus, attendees have the opportunity to network with fellow industry professionals during scheduled breaks and meals. About the instructor
Tamir Druz, Managing Director of Capra Energy Group, helps international energy producers, consumers and intermediaries to structure transactions, manage portfolio risk and implement state-of-the-art capabilities for natural gas, LNG, carbon emissions and hydrogen. He is also Chief Analyst for CapraViewTM, an interactive platform for analysing the global gas/LNG balance and forecasting market prices. Finally, Tamir serves as external Chief Risk Advisor for Green Trading Capital, a leading environmental commodities asset manager.
Before founding Capra Energy, Tamir helped to build and manage the energy marketing and trading businesses at Barclays Capital and Power Team, and the commodities risk consulting practices at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Towers Perrin Risk Capital. Tamir earned an MBA in Finance, with Distinction, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a BS in Chemical Engineering, summa cum laude, from the Cooper Union School of Engineering.
