The Carbon & Hydrogen Markets, Pricing & Trading 3-day training course delivers the practical knowledge, skills and tools required to succeed within the new environment. Course participants will learn how to:

Course participants also receive Capra Energy’s Energy Transition ToolkitTM, a suite of Excel templates and algorithms for performing essential GHG and H2 calculations, including H2/NH4/LNG unit conversions, power generation emissions estimates, required hedge sizes, maximum netback prices, required hedge sizes, CO2 contract mark-to-market (MTM) values and much more. These templates are used to solve practical exercises and case studies throughout the course.

About the instructor

Tamir Druz, Managing Director of Capra Energy Group, helps global energy firms to implement leading-edge energy and emissions trading and risk management analytics, systems and processes. He is also the Chief Analyst for CapraViewTM, which provides global gas/LNG supply, demand and price forecasting.

Before founding Capra Energy, Tamir helped to build and manage the energy marketing and trading businesses at Barclays Capital and Power Team, and the energy risk consulting practices at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Towers Perrin Risk Capital.

Tamir earned an MBA in Finance, with Distinction, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a BS in Chemical Engineering, summa cum laude, from the Cooper Union School of Engineering.
