Tamir Druz, Managing Director
Tamir Druz is the Managing Director of Capra Energy Group, where he serves as a key strategy, finance, policy, trading and risk management advisor for energy exporting nations, major global energy firms, leading natural gas utilities, LNG equipment manufacturers and information service providers. Before founding Capra Energy Group, Mr. Druz helped to build and manage the energy marketing and trading businesses at Exelon Power Team and Barclays Capital, and the energy risk consulting practices at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Towers Perrin Risk Capital. Mr. Druz has written extensively on energy trading and risk management subjects for various trade publications, including Energy Risk, Public Utilities Fortnightly, Commodities Now and Euromoney's TP Week. Mr. Druz earned an MBA in Finance, with Distinction, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a BS in Chemical Engineering, summa cum laude, from The Cooper Union School of Engineering.
Sam Bulmer, Director
Sam Bulmer is a Director of Capra Energy Group and is primarily responsible for the firm’s European consulting activities. Mr. Bulmer has over eight years of experience within the trading divisions of global energy companies including Shell, Phillips 66 and PetroChina, where he gained extensive experience in the fields of market risk, product control, credit risk and market analysis covering a wide range of energy commodities. Prior to joining Capra Energy Group, Mr. Bulmer worked with PetroChina’s LNG team to expand its entrepreneurial trading capability. During this time he played a key role in the coordination and delivery of competitive tender proposals. Mr. Bulmer earned a BSc in Business administration from the University of Bath School of Management in the UK.
